It’s that time of year again… spring break is right around the corner and your kids will need something to do!  Luckily, the SAC is offering the perfect day camp!  The SAC’s Spring Break Out! Camps set the stage to make new friends from different communities.  Children or youth are not always presented with the opportunity to meet other people their age outside their own classroom.  Getting out of your comfort zone and meeting new people and gaining those new experiences are what our spring camps are all about.

“My kids have gone every year since they were five,” says Karen Friesen from Steinbach.  “January wasn’t even over and they started asking me if they could sign up again this year!”

Friesen’s children have attended our Spring Break Out! Camps for four years now and enjoy all the different activities offered including drama, music, outdoor activities, theatre, visual art and much more.  And of course, the opportunity to build new friendships is always a positive thing!

At SAC, we see it all the time – kids come to the first day of camp without knowing anyone and may be a little shy about starting the first conversation.  But then they leave having developed these new relationships and connections.
