Alcoholics Anonymous

AA is a global fellowship dedicated to helping individuals struggling with alcoholism through shared experiences and mutual support. With no dues or fees, A.A. welcomes anyone with a desire to stop drinking, offering a structured program based on the Twelve Steps to foster recovery. For many years, the Steinbach Arts Council has proudly housed A.A. as part of its user group, providing a supportive environment for those on their journey to sobriety while remaining committed to its primary purpose of guiding alcoholics without engaging in external controversies or providing professional treatment.
Al-Anon

Al-Anon is a mutual support program designed for individuals whose lives have been impacted by someone else's drinking, providing a space for sharing experiences and fostering positive change, regardless of the alcoholic's acknowledgment of their problem. For many years, the Steinbach Arts Council has proudly housed Al-Anon as part of its user group, offering a welcoming environment for those seeking support and connection. Accent Singers

Accent Singers

The Accent Singers, a vibrant adult community choir from Steinbach, Manitoba, welcomes singers of vocal ranges and abilities from the region. Under the direction of Meredith Hutchinson and accompanied by Annalee Schellenberg, the choir performs a diverse repertoire and collaborates with esteemed organizations like the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, Winnipeg Singers, SRSS choirs and other local musicians.
Artista Academy

Artista Academy

Artista Academy is an artistic development academy that fosters a holistic and engaging musical environment, focusing on personal growth and performance passion. Gabriela Gallo, a former Fusion Musical Theatre teacher at the Steinbach Arts Council, now independently operates Artista Academy and has become a valued user group within our building. The academy aims to ignite a passion for the performing arts among students of all ages.

BOSS Dance Academy is dedicated to promoting personal growth, community-building, and positive values through Dance, Theatre, Film, and the Arts, emphasizing mental and physical development. Committed to cultivating an appreciation for the arts, they maintain high standards in student discipline and provide a supportive environment for exploration and growth. In partnership with us, BOSS Dance Academy offers classes in our building while operating their own studio in Steinbach, enriching our community's artistic landscape.

The Southeast Artist Group consists of artists who regularly meet to paint, mentor one another, learn new techniques, and explore creative ideas, showcasing their work in the Steinbach Arts Council's Gift Shop. Some members also participate in the Buy or Lease Art & Print Program, allowing community members to acquire or lease their artwork, thereby enhancing the local arts scene. The group is supported through sales from the Gift Shop, with proceeds benefiting their activities, and individuals can contribute by purchasing items or donating to the Steinbach Arts Council to further enrich arts and culture opportunities in the community.
