Message from the Executive Director
At the Steinbach Arts Council, our work is about more than access.
It’s about the environment we create, including spaces that are safe and welcoming, led by skilled instructors and mentors, with room to try, learn, and grow. Each year, we support thousands of people at every stage of life, from kids developing critical skills, to teens and adults continuing to learn and create, to seniors finding connection. Our focus is on growth that happens over time and on building something we all believe in: community.
When we invest in this work, we strengthen the fabric of our region and reflect the cultures that make it so diverse. With your support, we can continue to create a place that supports people and contributes to a strong and connected region. Nearly 30 years ago, the Steinbach Arts Council became a place where someone noticed my potential and supported my growth. That same commitment continues to guide our work today. Join us on May 1 as we raise funds to support our community for generations to come.
– David Klassen, Exective Director

Take a piece of our history with you
Our Gala is not just a celebration of our history, but also a celebration of the possibilities for the future. The arts play a vital role in bringing people together and inspiring creativity and connection.

Student Highlight
Building bright futures
We believe in self-expression and creating a space for kids and youth that encourages joy, authenticity, and freedom to express oneself. This year’s event will celebrate the students and individuals who walk through our Centre each day. We are proud to feature several Steinbach Arts Council students who have demonstrated dedication to learning their crafts and who contribute to their community by sharing their artistic skills and gifts.
