Meet Your Instructor

Sara Richards

I have been attending group fitness since my early twenties. For me it was a great way to get out of the house, have time for myself and build amazing friendships. Not only great for my physical health, but my mental health too!

There is just something about working out together, motivating and pushing each other. There is such a supportive community that forms!

This was why I wanted to become a fitness instructor. So I could share my love of fitness with everyone! I love Barre Fusion, and I can’t wait to share my passion with you! Hope to see you soon.

Empower’d Barre Fusion with Sara Richards 18+

The Empower’d Method is a music-based fitness class that blends barre training, functional strength training, aerobics & dynamic stretching. Empower’d is low impact, high energy, and is designed to encompass and welcome ALL levels of fitness. You don’t belong in a box and neither should your Workout!

Refund Policy

SAC Membership

A SAC Membership must be purchased for all classes which consist of multiple sessions (1+ hours per session). For workshops under 8 hours long or 1-day duration only, a member and non-member price will be indicated. Memberships have a 1-year validity and are non-refundable.

Resident Membership: $15 for Individuals; $30 for Families
Non-resident Membership: $20 for Individuals; $35 for Families

Refund Policy

Full refunds are given when you withdraw two weeks prior to the start date of a class/workshop/day camp. From that point until the start of classes, a 50% credit will be applied to your account upon withdrawal. There will be no refund after the start date. Your class fees help our Centre operate and offer high-quality programming for you and the community, and we strive to make it affordable for all. By signing up for a class/program, you are acknowledging our refund policy.

Only the Class Fee is subject to a refund. Your SAC membership, admin fees, and material fees are not included in the refund amount. We can send your refund in person back to your original mode of payment or by cheque in the mail.

Cancellation Policy

Class Minimum

Classes/Workshops are subject to cancellation if the minimum number of registrants is not reached. In this case, a full refund (or an account credit) will be issued including membership and administration fees. We inform registering students as soon as possible when we have canceled a class.

If Due to Public Health Recommendations

If Public Health recommends that isolation is to be reinstated and arrangements for virtual teaching can be made by SAC, no credits or refunds will be issued.

If virtual learning is not possible, the participant will receive a prorated credit for the remainder of their class.

Students will receive an information/reminder email prior to the start of a class/workshop.

Full Classes

Our classes have a limited number of spots each season. If a class you’re interested in indicates CLASS FULL, you can still join our waitlist by emailing cassandra@steinbacharts.ca! We will contact you via e-mail or phone if a spot has opened so we can take your registration. We cannot guarantee admission to the class even when you have joined our call list.

In most cases, we open the same class in the next season. You can check back on our website from time to time or sign up for our SAC eNews to get updates about current and upcoming classes/events here.

Bursary Requests

SAC aims to break barriers and give every child the opportunity to participate in our programs. To apply for a bursary, please request a form from our office at office@steinbacharts.ca.
