Steinbach Arts Council Announces Diverse Fall Lineup Featuring New Cultural Workshops

Steinbach, MB — The Steinbach Arts Council is thrilled to announce that registration for 2024 Fall Classes opens to the public on Wednesday, July 24, 2024. Following the success and growth of last year with many sold out classes, and workshops, the Steinbach Arts Council is excited to offer even more creative and unique learning opportunities for our community.

“The growth in participation in classes and the new culture and heritage workshops we hosted this past Spring, were highlights of the year. We know that there is an increasing demand for arts and culture recreation in our community and we’re excited to offer even more great opportunities this year.  We saw hundreds of participants in our classes last year, we had the largest graduating Arts4tots Preschool Program we have seen and we’re preparing for another incredible season,” says Cassandra Kornelsen, Manager of Community Programs at the Steinbach Arts Council.

Check out our classics like Arts4tots Preschool Program, Backyard Theatre Company, Steinbach Children’s & Youth Chorus, introductory classes with BOSS Dance, and a wide variety of visual arts classes to choose from for both youth and adults. Our free After School Arts Program for students in grades 5-12 is back for another year with classes like improv, culinary arts, guitar, fiddle, pottery, and visual arts.

This fall, we are particularly excited about continuing our cultural and heritage workshops that include Soap Stone Carving, Metis Beading, Metis Jigging, Preservation of Foods and more!  Don’t miss out on your chance to be a part of these workshops, all details will be posted on the Steinbach Arts Council website.

No matter what your age or interest, the Steinbach Arts Council is incorporating innovative classes and workshops to meet the needs of our community.
