Steinbach Arts Council’ Arts 4 Tots to graduate largest class to date

The Steinbach Arts Council, together with the Arts4tots Preschool Program are thrilled to celebrate a successful and rewarding preschool year.  The program is scheduled to celebrate their largest graduating class to date, with the ‘In My AFT Era’ themed Graduation on Thurs. June 6th at 5:30 pm at The Steinbach Arts Council.  We are thrilled with the success, growth and overall passion experienced in this program.  All 11 non-graduating students this year have registered to continue with the program in September 2024, with 44 going on to graduate to kindergarten. The tots will be performing a choreographed dance by Boss Dance Academy’s Bretton Selent who will also DJ and Emcee the Graduation Ceremony. There will be hot dogs, bouncy houses, face painting, balloons and more for the tots and their invited family to enjoy. From a parent of a child in the program: “We enjoy and appreciate the program. She has learned a lot and become much more confident resulting from her time there and we are grateful for this. I would totally recommend the program to other people!” The Steinbach Arts Council’s Arts4Tots Preschool Program fosters early childhood development through the arts. Professional artists regularly visit to integrate their mediums into the curriculum, which celebrates cultural diversity and offers indoor and outdoor lessons, creative calendars, and field trips. Parents appreciate the program’s arts focus and enriching experiences. Arts4Tots is a preschool program for ages 3-5 that offers creative learning, a focused classroom, and qualified staff. The day starts with circle time covering weather, singing, ABC, 123, calendar, and story time. Preschoolers then participate in activities like dress-up drama, art discovery, music and movement, dance, storytelling, snack time, and more. New weekly themes are introduced, and special event days are held, such as Hat Day, Pajama Day, and Teddy Bear Picnic. Our experienced Directors bring out the best in Arts4Tots children, working to encourage and assist children in their creativity and development. Parent volunteers are also welcome to participate in classes and help craft a creative, safe, and positive environment.  Biannual progress reports let you know how your child is doing.  Arts4tots Preschool Program Registration is open for the September 2024 – June 2025 preschool year.  You can visit our website at steinbacharts.ca or contact the Steinbach Arts Council office at 204-346-1077.
