Steinbach Children’s Chorus & Youth Chorus to perform at Spring Concert

The Steinbach Arts Council’s Steinbach Children’s Chorus (SCC) and Steinbach Youth Chorus (SYC) are thrilled to perform their Spring Concert selections, directed by the accomplished and musically talented Gabriela Gallo. Enjoy various music selections performed at the Steinbach Christian School on Thursday, May 16th, 2024, at 7 pm. Admission is $2.00 at the door for those aged 12 years and older.

Director Gabriela Gallo brings a fresh and fun approach to each choir. A few selections will include “Homeward Bound,” “The Rock Island Line,” and “Bridge Over Troubled Water” performed by the Youth Choir. The Children’s Choir will perform selections such as “Dansi Na Kuimba” and “Scallywag.”

SCC and SYC are excellent programs for young singers in Grades 2-4 & 5-8 to develop fundamental musical abilities in a group environment. With a diverse repertoire, students will enjoy attending the engaging weekly rehearsals. Our young musicians will benefit from this creative outlet where they can express themselves musically in a safe space and rediscover the joy that the arts can bring to their daily lives.
