Coached, no doubt, to admire the beauty in nature and the arts, Audrey has done so ever since. In public life, she has instructed classes in literature, fine arts and drama, directed school and community productions for children and young adults, and served on divisional and provincial boards and committees concerned with curriculum development and school improvement. In private life, Audrey enjoys reading, writing, walking, travel and cottage life with her family in the Whiteshell. As a producer of the arts, Audrey has tried her hand at creative writing, playing the piano, drawing, painting, fabric arts, clay work and photography. Audrey also enjoys being a member of the audience, a role that she practices often as she watches her grandchildren participate in arts and sports activities.
